I have a diverse background of experience bringing me into my Real Estate career. I began my Fire Department Career in 1979 and in 2004 I retired as the Director and Acting Chief of The West Orange New Jersey Fire Department. I immediately obtained my Real Estate license and began working with Wheeler Real Estate of Venice Inc. Wheeler is the oldest and most prestigious Real Estate firm in the area. It's focus is on professionalism and customer service. It is an Independent Agency recently voted by the Sun/Gondelier (local newspaper) as The Best in the area.
Prior to my Real Estate career, and concurrent with my Fire Department career, I owned and operated a large floorcovering store. I also volunteered my time as a past President and then Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the West Orange Municipal Credit Union. I helped to start and was the first Executive Vice President of The New Jersey Deputy Fire Chiefs Association. I was awarded The New Jersey Fire Officer of the Year Award in 1999. I have been involved in fundraising for the New Jersey Tourette Syndrome Association. I served for many years as the Ombudsmen of The New Jersey Garden State Irish festival. I have been a proud member of The Essex County Emerald Society.
